The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination in June-July 2025. Here, we are discussing the selection process, exam pattern, syllabus and marking scheme for SSC CGL 2025 exam.

Scheme of the SSC CGL 2025 Examination

SSC CGL exam consists of two rounds of online examination. The Computer Based Examination will be conducted in two tiers as indicated:

  1. SSC CGL Tier 1 (MCQs Type Online Exam)
  2. SSC CGL Tier 2 (Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3)

SSC CGL Syllabus 2025

Before going through the syllabus, candidates must be aware about the exam pattern and marking scheme. SSC CGL Tier 1 examination is qualifying in nature. It consist of 100 questions for 200 marks, which has to be completed with in 1 hour. For every coorect answer a candidate will be rewared for 2 marks and there is a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer. Let's have a look at the SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam pattern.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Syllabus 2025

SSC CGL Tier 1 exam comprises of 4 subjects namely General Intelligence and Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language & General Awareness. each section is very important as it is equally divided for 50 marks of each section.   • The level of questions in General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Comprehension (Parts A, B, and D) will be of graduation level.
