AFCAT Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2025

The AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) syllabus is divided into four sections:
1. General Awareness
This section tests the candidate's knowledge of current affairs, history, geography, and other general knowledge topics. It includes:
History (Ancient, Medieval, Modern)
Geography (Indian and World Geography)
Indian Polity and Constitution

Science & Technology

2. Verbal Ability in English
This section evaluates English language proficiency, including:

Total Marks: 300
Time Duration: 2 hours
Negative Marking: 1 mark deducted for each wrong answer
For technical branches, candidates applying for the EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test) must also appear for an additional section focused on engineering subjects (Mechanical, Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics).
